Croatia is located in Southeastern Europe -45 10 North, 15 30 East-to be exact. It is a fairly small small country, being slightly smaller than West Virginia.
It is bordered by Bosnia and Herzegovina, (932 km) Hungary, (329 km) Serbia, (241 km) Montenegro, (25 km) and Slovenia. (455 km)
Croatia also has a 5,835 boarder with the Adriatic Sea. (1,777 km with the mainland and 4,058 km with islands) There are 1,185 islands (67 that are inhabited) which belong to Croatia.
